Lanarkshire Chamber member crowned Scottish and Northern Ireland winners at Royal Bank of Scotland Great British Entrepreneur Awards

The Optical Factory & Hearing Clinic, owned and operated by Sean Walls (President of Lanarkshire Chamber of Commerce) and Carla Di Mambro were awarded the prestigious award of Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year at the first regional gala final of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards held in Edinburgh on Thursday 15th November.

Entrepreneurs from across Scotland and Northern Ireland came together to celebrate their success at the event which is now in its sixth year. The Royal Bank of Scotland Great British Entrepreneur Awards celebrates the hard work and inspiring stories of entrepreneurs in the UK.

Gordon Merrylees, Head of Entrepreneurship for Royal Bank of Scotland, said: “We are incredibly proud to support these important awards again in 2018. The number and calibre of entries this year proves that entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in Scotland and Northern Ireland.”

The Optical Factory and Hearing Clinic has been providing customers with exceptional eye care services since 2011. In 2016 the company introduced a Hearing Clinic to provide the latest in digital hearing aid solutions.
